Can You Tell Me About The Survival Rate For People With Rectal Cancer?

My aunt has just been diagnosed with rectal cancer she is in stage 2 or 3 and also has spots on her liver. Will u tell me in your honest opinion what her survival rate will be

    The rectal cancer is also called colon cancer. Thee survival of patient with this cancer depends upon the stage at which diagnosis take place. Prognosis after treatment of stage 1 is 85-90%, stage 2 is 65-75%, stage 3 is 55% and less than 20% cured in stage 4.

      I believe the survival rate for stage 3 ranges about 65%-75% but remember that every patient is different. There are many factors that play a part of the survival factor and the best person to answer is the person's oncologist and physician.
