    Surrey is a county located in the south of England and it is a part of South East England region. This county shares borders with Berkshire, Greater London, Hampshire, Kent, East Sussex and West Sussex.
           
    Surrey is comprised of 11 boroughs and districts and some of them are Mole Valley, Elmbridge, Guildford, Runnymede, Spelthorne and Waverly. The estimated population of the county in the year 2005 is 1,075,600 and the total area is 1,663 square kilometers. The administrative headquarter of the county is Kingston.
         
    Surrey is situated quite close to London and which is why it is more affluent as people who work in London have their houses in the villages and towns of Surrey and they commute from here. The economy of Surrey is mostly service based and contributes almost 80% in the economy.
