    Dieting is a misnomer.  We are all on a diet.  Most of us are on horrible diets that cause us to gain weight.  Stoffney has the right answer.  Eat balanced meals and incorporate regular exercise into your life.

    To add to that, avoid foods high in saturated fats and look for healthy fats and oils such as the Omegas commonly found in fish.  A reduction of carbohydrates in the evening may also be a smart idea.
