What Does The Bible Say About Disciples Of Children?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The bible states that "Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him" (Psalms 127:3) and ". . .My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those he loves. . ." (Hebrews 12:5-6). The bible also tries to convey that whether kids are natural, adopted, step, or foster, they are all well-known with the cost of non-compliance. God was very important in trading with Israel's agreement and waywardness all through the Old Testament. Biblical discipline is what encourages our kids to keep God as their guiding strength in every work that they do and even in their judgment, attitudes, and play. "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right…that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth" (Ephesians 6:1, 3).
