I think people should be free to love whoever they want. To say that they should be punished by death is completely ridiculous. I think that person is shallow and just mean. I am not gay but have friends that are. In this life, one should be happy and be allowed to love. If they want to be married, then so be it. So many straight people can't get it right, maybe they can. I say life is too short and I don't judge others by who they love. Let it be legal

Just because you disagree with capital punishment doesn't make it offensive for your fellow citizens to disagree with you. Moral order is a prerequisite to the rule of law. For social stability, the morally offensive act of homosexual marriage needs to be punished severely.
