Every firefighter will have a common goal suiting the nature of their job. This job means helping other people from dangers and hazards. Their goals mainly involve life safety, incident control, property damage control and environmental preservation.

It is an extremely difficult career and not every one can handle it. This is why a firefighter continuously trains him for improving his performance and efficiency. Safety operations are regularly practiced by firefighters and this continues through out their career.

Training is provided at the fire academy and if a firefighter wants he can update himself with extra training programs which offer certificates and awards too. The best American training organization is the National Fire Protection Association.

The firefighters also work hand to hand with other emergency control organizations such as police department and 911. Together they team up and help controlling a situation and save people's life.

All firefighters want to make sure their presence can save another life and they will make every effort in serving their country and preserving their nation's environmental property. Along with this, they want to make sure they abide by all laws of the firefighting federation and take control of any traumatic situation as a responsible and efficient firefighter.
