How Do You Harden Off Tomatoes?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It is recommended to harden off your tomatoes before transplanting them. The growth and the fruit production turn faster. Hardening off are steps to help your tomatoes adjust to the outside world. The tomatoes should be kept outside for five to six days in the beginning. They should not be directly exposed to the sunlight. After a few days, keep the plants out in the evenings. Then after a few more days the plants should be able to stay out all night. Make sure you are watering your plants regularly. This process will help your plants to grow better in quality and much faster as well.
