Are People In Missouri Going To Get More Unemployment If They Exhausted There Claim In Nov 2009?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I believe you will. The news said any unemployment that runs out before the end of this year will be extended by 14 weeks. If your state has a greater than 8,5% unemployment rate, you will get 20 weeks. Missouri's rate is 9.5%, so you should get 20 weeks. I'm not sure if you have to reapply or how it will work. Good luck.
