How Do You Find Out Parish Boundaries?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In order to find out your parish boundaries you could always ask your local church. They would always give you the information that you will need. What you could also do is go over to the following link and check out all the boundaries. www.basingstoke.gov.uk.

The boundaries are usually referred to as the southern, eastern, western or northern boundaries rather than naming them with the names of the streets. The boundaries usually remain the same for years and can only be changed by the local presbytery.

The last time these boundaries were changed in UK was in the year 2004 and has not changed ever since. Every parish has a priest in charge and everyone within the church has certain rights such as rights to marriage, baptism and funerals.
