Why Do We Run The Vacuum Cleaner Over A String Or Lint 10 Or 15 Times?
We end up picking it up by hand and examine it as if it was possessed because the vacuum could not pick it up.....

Sounds like your vacuum may have an airflow problem if it isn't picking it up? Heck mine is like a cartoon it sucks everything up! Lol

HAHAHAHA! Because we are so convinced that technology is so advanced that our vacuum should be able to get that piece of string up.
My daughter sits on the couch and throws things down on the floor when I'm vacuuming to see if it will get sucked up.

LOL, I'll be darned if that string/lint will be in control of my vacuum! But when it DOES get picked up in the vacuum, it usually gets clogged and stops the vacuum altogether which makes me even madder! HA
