1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Brussels belong to the cabbage family. You will be able to see a number of sprouts arranged in rows on a single stalk. Compared to large sprouts the smaller ones are tenderer. If you desire strong flavoured sprouts, then you would have to keep them in refrigerator for 3 days. These sprouts are known to contain vitamins like A and C. It is also a very good source of iron.

You will have to plant the sprouts during the warm climates late in the summer season or you can sprout them during the early spring or early winter season. Make sure that sprouts receive full sun so that they can grow well. The spot you have chosen to grow it should have fertile soil. Before you put the seedlings into the soil, put some amount compost in each of the holes you have chosen.
