How Long Will Detox Symptoms Last From Methadone?

Be ready for the severe detox to last up to a couple weeks to a month and then mild detox for another couple weeks.Then your body and mind has to detox from the effects of  it can take some people many months to return to normal sometimes 7-8 months to longer.

It depends on many things: What dose you were on, how fast or slow your detox was, your weight & metabolism. Since Methadone is stored in the fat, it is very slow moving through the system.. So it could take quite a while to feel completely normal again. I detoxed 4 mg a week from 100 mg down to nothing. It took me 3 months after my detox was over to feel normal.
