Answer Question

The word Faye is an old French word. It is known to be the short form of the word "faith". It can also be interpreted as a short form for the word "fairy" in old medieval English. It also has its roots in Gaelic or Irish origins, which is normally used as a family name. It is a unisex name, that is, this name is applicable to both the sexes. Though this name can be used for both the sexes, it is more popular amongst girls. Faye may also refer to the lunar crater on the moon. A highly eroded crater on the southern part of the moon has been named Faye. It is adjoining several other craters such as Delaunay crater and the Donati crater.
