    What Type Of Ring Neck Is All Black On Is Back, Orange On Its Belly With An Orange Ring Around Its Neck?

    I found this snake outside my apartment in st. Petersburg Florida. I just want to know what it eats how big it gets (i think it is already 7 or 8 inches long) and if it is venomous.

    It sounds like you found a Southern Ringneck Snake.  These guys are very prevalent in Florida.  Luckily they are pretty harmless and cause no threat.  They stay pretty small, usually less than a foot in length.  Their meals consist of worms and various frogs and lizards.  Check out this site for more information:  www.flmnh.ufl.edu
