Can You Name One Inorganic Substance Bonded With Organic Matter?

Answer Question

There are a number of reactions which are carried out between organic and inorganic substances. Reactions of Sulfur, Oxygen and other halogens with organic substances are such kinds of reactions.

I give you the example of Chlorination of Ethene!

When ethene is exposed to chlorine, then the double covalent bond between the two carbons of ethene is broken down. As a result, each carbon gets one atom of chlorine. In this reaction a bond is formed between an inorganic substance, Chlorine and the organic matter, Ethene.

    C2H4 + Cl2 gives C2H2Cl2
