Where Is Manitowoc?

Manitowoc is known as the county city of Manitowoc county in Wisconsin. The city of Manitowoc is located on the lake of Michigan, at the mouth of Manitowoc River. According to the census survey conducted in the year 2000, the population of Manitowoc was about 34,000. The total population including the residents of surrounding communities will be around 51,000. The current mayor of the Manitowoc County is 'Kevin M. Crawford'. The total of the city is about 44.5 sq km, out of which the total land area is about 43.7 sq km and the water area is about 0.8 km.

Manitowoc is also a part of the Green Bay, Wisconsin television market; however the local residents also receive stations from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin television market.
