What Is Physical Properties?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In physics, physical properties are the characteristics of the substances on the basis of their appearance, color and odor. For example, if you mention that sulfur is yellowish in color then it is a physical property of sulfur on the basis of its color. Crystal of sodium chloride is the physical property of NaCl. Boiling points, melting points, atomic mass and density are some other examples of physical properties. The reason is that boiling point shows the temperature at which the state of the substance changes and atomic mass identifies the size of the atom.
