What Does Monstrous Mean?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The term monstrous normally refers to some thing frightful or hideous. In Dungeons as well as in Dragons fantasy role-playing game, a Monstrous Spider is generally one of the main widespread kinds of Giant spiders.

Even till today it is not clear on which real-life spider are they inspired from, though a number of developers, including D&D assume that they look some what similar to a Tarantula mixed with an Australian House Spider. The creatures normally vary in magnitude, like nearly all the Giant spiders, and range between the size of a dog or to a size of a house.

These spiders are usually greyish-black in colour, are hairy and are said to have eight red eyes but are heavily yet compactly built and can be extremely dangerous as well as powerful. Their tail comprises of a small yet deadly sting.
