Vicodin is the same as Lortab (as well as Lorcet, Hycodan, Vicoprofen and more)...it is hydrocodone, which is synthetic codeine. The only difference in the vicoprofen and vicodin is one has ibuprofen and the other has acetaminophen (Tylenol).I would have to say the closest controlled (prescription) medication to heroin (from what I have heard) is oxycontin. Regardless, vicodin can be very addictive if used for extended periods and fatal if misused. I hurt my back and had to be on medication for years (I have recoved now) so unfortunately I know too much about this lol. Hope I helped.
