How Do You Draw Manga? Anyone Got Any Tips?

There are some pretty good books on drawing in the MANGA style. I teach a bunch of kids this as a project and they love it. First off, check a budget book store like the works, you should be able to pick up a book for a few quid. Are you hand drawing or using Illustrator or Photoshop? You need to remember CUTSEY and SEXY. Some things remain constant, like the large eyes tiny nose and chin shape. Other factors can change.... the length of the face, hair etc. I start the kids off drawing from famous faces so tey get varied looks. The figures are all pretty similar, curvy, tiny waists long legs. Once you have the figures sorted you need to think about the camera angles and perspective, which is usually quite dramatic in MANGA. Also movement, lots of it  :-) :-) I hope this helps! :-)
