Just recently my dog has had runny stools. She now is having dark mucus like stools. She is eating OK. Just a bit concerned

The dark part of the stool may be partially digested blood. Intestinal parasites, stress, bacterial overgrowth, and dietary indiscretion are common causes of diarrhea in dogs. Most diarrhea in dogs is self-limiting. If it lasts more than 2-3 days your dog needs to be seen by a veterinarian.
Good things to do at home for gastrointestinal upset include feeding a bland diet-boiled chicken/rice, canned pumpkin (non-spiced), and plain yogurt.
