How Old Does A Kitty Have To Be To Be Declawed?
I have a 9 week old kitty that I was curious about front declawing?
Answers
Please, please, please think long and hard before you declaw your cat. Declawing is a mutilating procedure which involves amputating a portion of the bone in each toe and can lead to chronic infection and other problems. I hope you will learn all you can about this and make an informed decision. I know I haven't really answered your question, but as you can tell, I am opposed to declawing cats. You should consult a veterinarian.

My son had his cat declawed 10 years ago and had to have her put to sleep, she had infection where her claws were and it would not clear up and turned into cancer. So think twice about this.
