 Make sure he is getting a proper diet and plenty of water. Is his environment humid enough? Could he be shedding? Has he been exposed to any chemicals from cleaning or painting (fumes or vapors)? Have you bathed him with anything new or for the first time? Has he fallen in anything (like a sink full of soapy water)? Has he been getting too much sun? Could his heat lamp be drying his skin out?
