There are two names that describe the place called London and one of the areas is called the City while another is called Greater London. If you are taking the area of the city using the unit of measurement called miles, the number that represents the area is 1.00 square miles. Taking the same unit into consideration and measuring the area of the Greater London gives you the figure of 609 square miles.

As we are talking about the figures so it is pertinent that I should give you some more figures and if you take the population of the city it stands at 9200 and the population for Greater London is 7.5 million. If you are intending to have more information about London, you can visit the website of the city also and the website is www.london.gov.uk.
