          ISP is Internet Service Provider. There are many ISP's available to choose an internet connection. Different ISP's have different schemes and discounts to attract the customer. ISP's provides internet connection through cable connection, telephone line, DSL and LAN.

          If you do not know who your ISP is, you can simply check from what device are you getting an internet connection on your computer. Check if the cable connection of TV is used for connection, you can check if any telephone line is connected directly or indirectly to your computer. Let's consider that you have come to know that the internet connection is provided by telephone line, and then you can contact the helpline number of your telephone service provider.

          If you do not know how your computer is hooked up for internet. Then you go for a new internet connection from a known ISP. This way you will also come to know about your present ISP.
