Luckily for you, Valentine's Day is perhaps not as big of a deal as some other holidays. Still, it might be a very big deal to your partner if you forgot! However, there are a lot of nice things you can do though that don't require lots of planning.

Think food. Food is easily obtained. You could cook a nice dinner, or you could have dinner out. Easy.

Some other options are buying a gift voucher or certificate online. Often these types of gift vouchers are delivered immediately. You could surprise you partner at work by having a gift voucher sent to his or her email.

Another idea is flowers. Some florists even offer same-day delivery for such circumstances. Of course, there are also a lot of little gifts that you can get during a quick trip to the shops.

Last but not least, what about a handmade card, a poem, or a song? Thankfully, one of love's virtues is spontaneity. It's a good thing for those of us who aren't good at remembering dates!

My husband forgot as well but that is alright because i have watched him squirm all day , but to be honest it didn't worry me too much - I still cooked him a nice meal. You will still be loved because your softer side has shown that you care.

I was also about to ask the same question. There were times I forgot to give my wife something for Valentine's Day and she really took it so seriously that she did not talk to me for weeks. I did not know what to give to appease her, but the first thing that came to my mind is to give her a bouquet of red roses for she really loves that. So I did by a singing-gram, not personally for fear she might reject my peace offering.
