 Primarily the genre that Isaac Asimov had chosen to write was science fiction but he didn't confine his talent to that genre only. You can find some of the books written by him on the subject of history also, though he is known to the world for science fiction only. The other genres that he used to write his books include popular science, literary criticism, mystery fiction and essays.

In all the genres he was associated with almost 500 hundred books and he worked as an editor also to many of the books. He is also known to have worked on the nine categories of Dewey Decimal System and he touched most of the categories in the system.

When it comes to the books, he has a number of them and the most famous of them include the Foundation series that has earned accolades from every quarter and gave the fame to the writer that was due.
