Answer Question

Tibet is a region in Central Asia. Its neighbouring countries are China and India. It is the home of the Tibetan people. Tibet is a disputed region. There is a part claimed by various groups of Tibetan exiles. The People's Republic of China (abbreviated as the PRC) has also designated some areas of Tibet. The Tibet Autonomous Region (abbreviated as the TAR) is actually the only region of Tibet which is actually under the control of the Tibetan government. One part of Tibet has been claimed by India. The government of India has designated it to be a part of the Aksai Chin. There is one part that has just been claimed (though not controlled) by the People's Republic of China. It has been claimed as a part of the Tibet Autonomous Region. There are some other areas which are historically and culturally Tibetan areas. Lhasa is the capital of the Tibetan Autonomous Region (TAR).
