2. Make sure the puppy is in execellent health.
3. Ask for any and all medical records, especially shot records.
4. If the breeder does not have any records, then ask if he/she will allow you to take the puppy to a veterinarian of your choice for a wellness exam. It is better to be out only $40 for an exam, rather than hundreds of dollars for a sick puppy.
