Kittens will die from starvation. They receive both nutrients and hydration from their mother's milk. Kitten milk replacer should be fed until at least 4 weeks if the mother has abandoned the kittens. Kittens are very sensitive to dehydration, hypoglycemia, and hypothermia. Seek veterinary medical attention as soon as kittens stop eating.
