Does The Dictionary Have Prefixes, Combining Forms, Etc.?

Answer Question

It really depends on which dictionary you use. An abridged dictionary usually won't contain prefixes, suffixes, or combining forms because of space. Their intention is to offer common and important words. However, most unabridged dictionaries do contain them. I've used several unabridged dictionaries that have them itemized in appendix form, which is a convenient time-saver. I've also come across a few online dictionaries that include them in their definitions. You could even google 'list of combining forms', 'prefixes', or 'suffixes'.
