Good question. It is my understanding that Statory Rape has no limitation. Statuatory Rape being sex with an under age person. The age statute varies from State to State.
Unfortunately, Rape of an adult may be included in the standard 7 year statue of limitation for many States.
There may likely be variances from State to State and Rape on Federal land may be treated differently as well.
It is my understanding that some States have no limitation and others vary depending on Class A or Class B felonies for example.
