Sorry,but I don't think they will give up on their attempt to get the money and with the state of the economy every little bit helps,so good luck.....

On top of them reporting it to a credit agency, if you don't make the payment it will destroy your credit - you will have this follow you for years.
You are right about the credit reporting they have already done that it is obvious that it is 30 days past so there is late pay there....
