Can Anyone Refer Me To Anyone Or Provide Any Resources For "Unfair Treatment By Leasing Company"?
I've received letters stating I broke my lease and owe 3 different amounts.I leased an apartment that was not "move in ready". They failed to make promised repairs prior/ during my stay. My lease ended 2-1-08. Returned the keys 1/31/08. 525 deposit provided.

If your lease ended in February and you returned the keys in Januaryand your rent was paid up to that date....what is their grounds for stating that you broke the lease??? Get a lawyer, go to court or do whatever is necessary and make sure you get all court cost and attorney fees back from the landlord. Obviously, they do not have a case. You win. (And make sure you get your deposit back too!)
