If the pit is a puppy you might want to be careful the pit might have worms. I lost a puppy that way. If this is so take the pit to a vet. Or might have just ate something that is making it sick. Medication is usually not expensive. Good luck with the poor baby. Remember adult's can also get worms, depending were you live. If you live in a area that's very very dry, you'r dog cant get worms or fleas. They can't survive it's to hot. If you live in a  humid area, well be careful.
