What Should Be Done About Gambling Addiction?

If you yourself are addicted then I would suggest joining a support group - it's easy to say you're going to give up - and even do it for a while - but the minute something goes wrong in your life or you're a little bit skint - it's easy to fall back into it which is why a good support network is crucial.

Tell your family and friends that you have a gambling problem and that you're trying to fix it and hopefully they will pull you back in line when you slip. Also steer clear of places where you might be tempted, casinos, pubs (slot machines) internet etc. There's no point in tempting fate.
