Irrigation was developed in order to fulfill the soil moisture requirements in times when there is no rain. It is an artificial way of watering fields, crops and plants. Irrigation is the process of supplying dry land with water. It was established for the purpose of giving water to crops so that they would grow and become a source of sustainability. Underdeveloped countries, which are basically agricultural economies, rely solely on irrigation for getting sustenance to survive.
