Only if I made the Jell-O. Every time I make Jell-O it turns out like rubber.
Not only could you nail mine to the wall but you could use it inside your shoes as comfort insoles or you could stuff it in your mattress and make the world's most comfortable mattress. The heck with sleep number or special miracle foam my special Jell-O mattress would rate higher than any of these LOL

How much for one?LOL
I'll take two!
Does it stay that way or does it "melt"?
This is a very difficult call to make.
First thing, I'm going to need more information from you in order to give you the best answer. Such as; Do I have to mix the jello up first?
Can I leave the jello in the box it came in?
What flavor is this jello. (This is VERY important)!
How much jello are we talking about here?
Which direction is this wall facing? North, South, East or West?
Is this wall, wood? If so, what type of wood? Pine, hickory, poplar, cedar, oak or tamarind?? Huum?
If the wall is not wood, then is it paneling? If so, what type of paneling? Wood, plexyglass, or wood-look poly board?
Is it a glass wall? If it is, that ain't going to fly unless I can use a glue gun.
Is the wall made of drywall, concrete board, backerboard, greenboard or plaster?
Is the wall textured? If so, this could present a problem.
Is there paint on the wall? If so, what type of paint is it? Flat, semi-gloss, gloss, eggshell or acrylic?
What brand of paint is it? Would need to know this.
Do I have to use nails or can I use screws? Because if you use something like, fried egg or peanut butter nails, that is not going to work.
If I have to take the jello out of the packet and mix it up, do I have to use water in the mix or can I use concrete mortar?
This all leads to another very important question. Can I use power tools to attach the jello to the wall or am I going to have to use armstrong and a hammer. If I have to use a hammer, can I use a sledge hammer or does it have to be just a regular old hammer? Can I use a hammer drill and some flange bolts?
Did I ask what flavor this jello is? If not, then what flavor is it?
Also, what part of the world is this wall located?
Is it in a tropical region or the North Pole? Because I am gona need to know this for sure!
What brand of jello is this jello? Is it Jello brand or Royale? I am definately going to have to know that! Cause Royale brand has a warning label that says they will seek legal action against any person or persons who nail their jello to ANY wall.
I will be needing to know how much this jello is going to cost, cause I only have 39 cents in my pocket. Oh, now that I think of it, who is going to pay for this jello? Do I have to pay for it or are you springin for the jello?
Lastly, Am I going to get paid for this job?
If so, how much? If you hire me, I am expensive, but well worth the money, Cause that jello ain't never gonna fall off that wall. I will accept this job of jello nailing, but only if I like the answers to all my questions.
Get back to me by leaving a comment under my answer and I will get back to you after I finish mounting the Kool-Aid to my neighbors ceiling.
Sincerely, AAA Acme Home Repair and Improvement Inc.

Are we drinking coffe again? You need to quit watching DIY.
Been hitting the coffee jug most of the day.
How could you tell?
Just what gave me away?
How did you know I watch DIY?
Did you know I watch HGtv too?
Am I asking too many questions?
Do you have one nerve left?
Have I gotten on that nerve?
Do you have this coffee drinking problem too?
Is that how you knew I was on the coffee again?
What should I do about it?'
You got any solutions to help me kick this bad habit?
If so, will you share them with me, cause I am addicted to the java!
You can contact me at Starbucks later tonight. Just ask for the mouth of the south. They'll know who you are talkin bout.

Love love love this answer! Completely brilliant in every way.
OK. I'm going to go find the bottle of Jack Daniels. Instead of water in the Jello, I'm using booze. Maybe a little shot for me, too, since I think I'm the only one here that hasn't been having a little nippy of the good stuff since last evening. Then I'll just mix the Jello with the whiskey, make a paste and smear it on the wall and put a nail through the whole thing and then who cares anyway, because boy, I'm feeling mighty good, and that Jello is staying right where I put it. So yeppers, and I jailed that Nello right on wy mall and its stay' right there, and it looks happy -- and I feel HAPPY! And to answer yer question, Blue, that jelly isn't movin' anywhere. And neither am I. pretty jello nailed on'a wall..........

Wait Tigg. We may not have to freeze it. I think there may be another way! I asked Bluegirl a bunch of questions, but so far, she ain't talking bout answering any of 'em.
Lol, im gonna try it out, then answer rotf lmao
- Why would you have to nail it, is it trying to escape
- Can't you afford any real art
- Did you see the blob one to many times
- I really wouldn't date someone named Jello

This is actually a very interesting mechanical engineering question. If the blob is small enough, some would stay, but as the weight of the jello exceeds the strength of the jello to hold itself together, much of it will fall away. It would also depend on the temperature and content of the jello. Maybe we can pose the question to a college student and ask for a full analysis.
Of course, a mechanical engineer wouldn't appreciate it as Wall Art, as the topic suggests!

Serious answer how hot is? It how cold is it? Is it normal jello?....any extra ingredients in the jello?.....put it in a bag and nail it right to the wall....or pour it on your clothes and hang them on the wall....DOH!...is the wall standing up or laying down?

I love that last part there nomad! Lol
Very very funny nomad1 lol
If the wall isn't laying down, then we could lay it down. Right quick and in a hurry.
Lol!

Now why didn't I think of that! Must be slipping. Nice answer, my friend.....:0)
Now I know why the funny farm is empty. Lol
After exhausting efforts by my 4 year old and I, we found, that No we could not nail the jello to the wall, we tried liguid nail, roofing nails, etc.... We did notice however, the red jello works better than the green, orange or grape, for it leaves at least traces of the jello, we also tried nailing it to the ceiling (we strongly advise against this unless proper attire is worn) we also tried nailing it to the floor, which works surprisingly well, but please note that you must warn spouses that there is an experiment in progress BEFORE they walk into the room. AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE should you attempt nailing it to the cieling fan because it .......... Well you had to have been there! WE would also like to thank AAA ACME Home Repair and improvement INC. For their continued patience with us, as we only called them 237 times in the course of this experiment.

I hope you really didn't tell him. Cause the minute your back is turned...
I don't know about regular Jello, but I do know that if you throw "finger" jello at the wall it will stick. If you don't know what "finger" jello is, it was popular when I was a kid. Basically it was Jello made w/Knox gelatin. I believe other than that it was made the same way as regular Jello. Anyway, my friends and I decided one day to see if it would stick. Sure enough it did and when it came off it left a red stain...We must have been eating strawberry or cherry. My mom was not real happy. Don't remember if the stain ever came off the wall or if we had to paint over it.

See Tina, I told you, the minute your back is turned..
Your right Tina, all it takes is 1 minute.
If its an invisible wall the nail would probly go through, i guess. I dunno. If you got a giraffe to hold it up idunno. Hey, i gotta question, if you tried to nail an invisible wall t o jello, would it stay?

If it's the jello my cousin makes, not only would you be able to nail it to the wall, you'd be able to use another piece of the jello to pound the nail into the wall - and it would stay forever! (The jello, as made by my cousin, would remain indestructible!!)

LOL just reminded me of Tigger's slime she got for last Christmas, haha she looked at me with the slime in her hand and said that flubber was dead!!!!! Lmao Roff
This sounds like a question that only a committee could answer.
If you can wait a few weeks for me to form such a committee, I might be able to come up with a consensus of opinion.
Better yet, why don't you apply for a Government grant to study this question ? I'll bet you could get a few hundred thousand bucks for research.

Can she get that with a bail-out option?
Did you get the committee together yet? Did you get that grant too? Lmao Roff, I have been waiting for you to ask me to be on the panel. Haha
If you need any help with your jello wall, reeree, just call , aaa acme home repair and improvement, at; mercy000 or call the toll free number, br549. Tell them, junior sent you.
This depends on many many factors (to many for me to willingly type out). Most importantly though, it depends on how much water was used to make it (because that will effect its viscosity).

Hate to be the nerdy one here but what is jello! Maybe its just been English but i seriously don't get it

Jello is jelly. Flavoured gelatine really. Comes in small packets that start off as crystals. Add the directed amount of hot water to it and stir it till it's all dissolved. Chuck in the fridge and it solidifies after a few hours. The end product is wobbly and melts in warmth. You can put it in moulds and have really funky jelly shapes.
Being jello is considered to be part of a liquid diet I would say no. It's weight or the temperature would cause it to fall.

I don't know I have never tried it. I think it would be fun to try though,I'll let you know what I find out

Umm...my guess is only if you have no idea how to make Jell-O, and it turns out harder th- Erm never mind, i would have to say no though ;)

I see you found the jello question. Good question. We loved it. Nice answer too Raindeux.
Btw, what does Tmi stand for?
Btw, what does Tmi stand for?
Tmi is too much information hon. Lol
If you get jelly straight from the packet in its square block form, without mixing it with any water and then hammer it to the wall it will stay! :)

I have an idea. We could glue this question poster on to the wall and she could hold the jello. I have never met this Bluegirl, But I already know I like her, cause this was a fun question.
On the other hand if you have toddlers,if not barrow some make the jello and let them at it,guarantee it will be on the wall, floor, clothes, furniture and more, the next question will be was it easy to clean up,and oh, yeah give the little ones some gum, chewing, bubble etc with the jello because they will make it do what do now, with no problem.
OK one last time for the giper, I'm building a house it will be a igloo and the wall will be made of jello, that way when I want a snack I'll just lick the walls any where in the house, good eating don't you think......hahahaha
Who got mad and just gave me a thumbs down? I said if u nailed jello to the wall, it would stay? What did all of us do to get thumbs downs, eh?

Maybe about 2 seconds, but probably not even that long. As soon as the nail splits the jello, it's floorsville for the jello. Who in the world would nail jello on the wall and why? A festive party decoration? No plates? A pin the tail on the jello game? A blindfold the stupid Southerner and tell him or her it's guts? People will do anything.

Too much water and that jello is just a small barely jiggly pile of goo so yeah it will stay if its dense enough and it also depends if its a small nail it wont work but a big nail yes

Well at our state fair we have deep fried everything even deep fried icecream! So try deep frying it it might stick then!

Maybe if you take some kind of high powered medication like morphine or have been drinking too much then yea it might stay! Lol!
