Do You Like Broadway Musicals?
Have you seen one live in New York? I saw Phantom of the Opera in NYC and also in Kansas City. My late husband brought me the DVD for my b-day a few years ago. Ihave seen many Broadway shows, but Phantom is my favorite- so romantic and sad.

Haven't seen one, never been to New York, to scared to go there, too many people for me. I have a fear you know.

I am a city girl and love NYC, but you are right- lots of people all over and most of the day and night.
I do like Broadway musicals, although I haven't seen that many in New
York. I wish I could go more often and see more, but it can get a
little expensive.
The best show I ever saw in New York was the original production of
Sweeney Todd with Angela Lansbury and Len Cariou. Other musicals
I've seen in NYC: Evita, Annie, Spamalot, Avenue Q and The 25th
Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
The most recent musical I saw was The Drowsy Chaperone, but not in New York.

The Drowsy Chaperone played here too in Kansas City- but I didn't see it,
We saw the Producers on Broadway three times.
It was a fantastic experience. We have seen a total of 6 shows.
It is very expensive but gives the most entertainment per dollar spent.

And the experience of being in NYC and seeing a Broadway show is just the best!
I'm still kicking myself for not seeing the original Broadway production of The Producers. I saw it when it was here, but I wish I had seen it with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick.
