Database Management System is the computer software which functions to manage databases. There are various data models like network model and relational model which are used in DBMS. DBMS is used to allow the users to store and retrieve data in an organized and structured form. There are various goals of DBMS including Query ability, Backup and replication, Rule enforcement, Security, Computation, Change and access logging and Automated optimization. Organizations use DBMS for their daily transactions processing. The data collected through DBMS is transferred from one computer to the other. Therefore, database management system plays an important role in storing and categorizing the data.
