How To Control The Idle On A 91 Chevy Lumina?
The car some times start just fine than suddenly misfire like if wants to die and smoke comes out of the tail pipe,at a scanner reads high voltage at the battery and the system but reading with a voltmeter it reads just fine!what could be happening?

Your lumina is fuel injection so it sets the idle itself. The timing may be off which would cause it to backfire. Could be the timing belt. You would have to take it to a shop to have the timing checked and reset.
