A society with media especially Free media is more aware of situations around them, they can raise their voice easily and get noticed with their problems. Media ensures that different cultures unite and they keep check on not only Government's activities but also keep informed of latest crime threats to country.
Media less society is not much aware of their rights, they can be easily suppressed by corrupt Government and cannot raise their voice easily then. They are not much aware of worldwide cultures and are very much resistant to accepting different culture people and events.

This is not necessarily true as the majoirity of the media are right winged and hence only distribute certain things in to the media for people to read and be influenced by. The media fails to notify people of all thw wrongdoings happening in the world because of our society and only selects information that will benefit them.
