Make sure that the site is accredited by the Better Business Bureau or recommended by popular financial media. Check that the insurance companies the site offers come along with their current rankings (preferably A or higher). At the same time, ensure that the site is not affiliated to any particular company to avoid bias of opinion and hard sell of a particular product. The site should also offer professional support staff to answer your queries. But, mostly beware of sites only pushing the cheapest deals. There is much more that goes into a life insurance policy than just a low rate and a provider that understands this, is one that you want to be associated with.
