Kittens need to stay with their mothers and not be touched by a human until they are 8 weeks.
They need to stay with their mothers until then because if we ( humans) touch them the kittens will smell like human then the mother will not want to be with the kitten because he or she smells like us and will think he or she is not her baby so then the baby will not get nursed and fed like he or she is supposed to be.
