Where Is Giants Stadium?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Giants Stadium is in the state of New Jersey and around 6 miles from Times Square in New York City.  It is the home of the New York Giants and the New York Jets football teams.  Of course, American, rather than European football is usually played in the stadium. However, the stadium also hosts Major League 'soccer,' as it is called, and is home to the Metrostars.   Other sporting events, as well as concerts and religious events appear in the Stadium throughout the year.  Tickets to Giants and Jets football games are extremely hard to come by; tickets for Metrostar games and other events are much easier to attain.

It is possible to get to the Stadium from Manhattan by driving, but to avoid the bumper-to-bumper traffic, it is advisable to take a bus.  Buses from Port Authority in Manhattan will take you to the stadium or Newark airport for around $3.00.  The trip usually takes around half an hour.
