Greensborough is a suburb of Melbourne in Australia. It has its local government area in the city of Banyule covering the regional post code 3088. This place is bordered by the Green Wedge, an area of bushy land to the left and Eltham and Diamond Creek in the northernmost part.

The Plenty River flows through Greensborough merging with the Yarra River at Templestowe. It also has a station in Zone 2 on the Hurstbridge Railway line known as Greensborough Station. Presently it is served by Connex. The station has serviced the area since its inception in 1902, and is notable for the single track section throughout the final station in Hurstbridge.
