Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Kuwait, officially referred to as The State of Kuwait would be a tiny constitutional monarchy nestled on the coast of the well known Persian Gulf, wedged in by Saudi Arabia which is situated to the south of Kuwait and Iraq, positioned to the north.

The major cities of Kuwait would include the capital, which is Kuwait City as well as Jahrah (which is only a thirty-minute drive to the Northwest of Kuwait City). Chief residential and business areas would be Salmiya and Hawalli. Finally, the major industrial area would be Shuwaikh which falls under the Al Asimah Governorate. Administratively speaking, Kuwait is officially divided into six governorates.

The government of Kuwait owns the famed oil industry, thus controlling the majority of the country's economy; which totally comes to roughly 75 per cent of Kuwait's GDP. The country's oil exports would vary, contingent on internal needs.
