Is There A Non Steroid Asthma Medication?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There are some non steroidal meds for asthma but most of the meds for flare ups or active problems have steroids. Singulair is what I take daily. But I still have an inhaler for flare ups and it does have steroids. And whenever I have been hospitalized with asthma (which hasn't been for a few years), they have pumped me full of steroids and had me on oral steroid meds for several months afterwards. The side effects from those are terrible. www.webmd.com explains how the steroidal meds work on asthma and explains some of the non steroidal medications. Hope this helps!
