Its not a good idea to breed rabbits until you are absolutely committed to doing so. Many people get into it and do not realize that the babies would have to be taken care of and you will eventually have to find good homes for them. If you are serious about breeding them then i suppose spend sometime with a professional breeder.

 Pick them up by the scruff of the neck and hold the legs and feet against the animal's body to prevent them from kicking.  Rabbits' hind legs are powerful and they can kick hard.
