Well i don't like audio books because i cant concentrate on it. I love to read actual text book because i can create my own situation with respect to my imagination. While listening to the audio book i can't do that and hence can't able to involve in that book as much as i can in actual text book.

I have tried audio books 2 times it is not bad but completely different from reading the book yourself since your mind lets you visualize what you read differently then listening to it. Being a very heavy book reader I would have to say read it , unless your eye sight does not permit long reading periods which is probably the main reason for audio books, hope my answer sheds some light
